Djali Kunda, que significa Casa de Artistas en mandinke, es un proyecto en torno a las músicas del oeste de África, especialmente de las tradiciones mandé (mandinke, susu, bambará etc) creado por Pablo Hernández Ramos (saxos y flautas) ,Cherif Badua (Senegal, kora,voz y percusión) y Aboubaker Sylla (Guinea Conakry, ngoni, kalimba, percusión y voz).
Djali Kunda explora también las conexiones con otros estilos como el jazz, la rumba y otras músicas de África y del Mediterráneo. En su versión Ba (grande) se suman músicos de primerísima línea: el baterista, percusionista y cantante nigeriano Akin Onasanya, el teclista italiano Gherardo Catanzaro (ambos de Ogun Afrobeat) y la trombonista y cantante cubana Andiley Mojena, para crear un grupo con un directo arrollador. El repertorio está compuesto por temas originales y nuevas lecturas de temas tradicionales, un viaje sorprendente para soñar y no parar de bailar.
