Si de Folklores y músicas del mundo hablamos, hay ciertos nombres que resuenan en la memoria colectiva e indudablemente Javier Colina es uno de ellos. Este maestro del contrabajo que no requiere presentación por su histórica trayectoria en el mundo del Jazz, el Flamenco y la World Music, se muestra junto a la majestuosa voz de la cubana Amy Gaviria, como base de “Folkloreando” .
Javier Colina y Amy Gaviria han elegido y arreglado cuidadosamente para este programa, un repertorio del filin cubano y de otros clásicos del folklore latinoamericano, abordando temas de compositores como Marta Valdés, José Antonio Méndez o María Teresa Vera. Además de la música, destaca la importancia de las letras de todas las canciones que se interpretarán, es por eso que este proyecto se presenta en un íntimo formato a trío, junto al guitarrista peruano Brian Aching, quien acompaña, improvisa e imprime una personalidad única y jovial a este bello programa de canciones atemporales.
