Roadrunners nace de una amistad larga y de muchas horas de música compartida. Ramón Arroyo y Jeff Espinoza llevan más de cuarenta años tocando juntos, desde que se conocieron y descubrieron que hablaban el mismo idioma: el de las canciones con raíz, alma y verdad. El repertorio del dúo se mueve en el territorio que hoy llamamos Americana: esa música estadounidense con raíces que va desde el blues rural, bluegrass de origen celtairlandés, folk, country, swing soul o rock. De esa fusión nació buena parte de la música popular que escuchamos hoy.
Roadrunners la revisita con respeto y personalidad, alternando versiones de autores como Bob Dylan o B.B. King con composiciones propias que encajan con naturalidad en ese paisaje sonoro..
